Enjoy your bed linen for longer with the right care
Our high-quality materials are very easy to care for by nature. Please note the care labels sewn into the bed linen, as properly cared for bed linen remains beautiful for a long time and will give you pleasure for a long time.
Long-lasting pleasure begins with the daily care of your Schlossberg bed linen: gently shake the comforter every day and air the room so that the moisture absorbed during sleep can be released again.
Preparing the laundry
Bed linen should be turned inside out for washing. This protects the surface of the bed linen and makes it easier to cover. Always keep the zippers closed during washing and drying.
Washing bed linen
Only wash colored and printed bed linen with colored detergent and without optical brighteners. Always wash dark colors separately. Please also always wash white bed linen separately. You can safely use a heavy-duty detergent for your whites.
Colored and printed bed linen can be washed at a maximum of 60° C. For the first wash cycle, we recommend that you wash the laundry at 60° C, as this will give it the optimum size (natural materials shrink by approx. 4-6%). For subsequent washes and hardly soiled laundry, 40° is sufficient, which is gentle on both the laundry and the environment.
Load the laundry loosely into the drum. Do not overload the drum, as this strains the fabric and can cause the bed linen to clump.
Drying
After washing, laundry should be dried immediately. If the laundry is left wet, unpleasant odors will quickly develop. Drying on a washing line is ideal and ecologically sensible (jersey bed linen should be pulled straight before hanging up). If you prefer tumble drying, remove the laundry slightly damp just before the end of the drying process.
Ironing
The jersey bed linen from Schlossberg does not need to be ironed. Satin Noblesse and the other Schlossberg fabrics are easy to iron.Ironing is very easy if you iron your linen when it is slightly damp.
