Our centrepiece, the in-house studio in Turbenthal, is the hallmark of Schlossberg. With each collection, new designs are lovingly created by hand in a variety of styles and painting techniques. Our five-strong Design & Product team draws inspiration from the current fashion scene, interior design trends, art, culture, social issues and professional trend scouts - and always with a single thought in mind: we turn an everyday moment into a unique, personalised feel-good moment.
Infinite variety
The bed linen designs range from classic floral, modern interpretations to simple plain themes and graphic, unusual patterns. The colour palette and variety of designs is almost inexhaustible and the characteristic drawing styles of our artists are unique.
Together with our product developers, who select only the highest quality fabrics with the best quality requirements, Schlossberg products are created that will soon become your new favourite companions.
Designed by hand
Our designers use a wide variety of colours and shapes, as well as different styles and techniques. Two of the most frequently used techniques are watercolour and acrylic painting. In addition to these two, a huge range of coloured pencils and pencils are also frequently used. Designs that are not printed but colourfully woven are also painted by hand using one of these techniques.
It can take several months from the initial research and sketches to the hand-painted originals before the digital templates are ready for colour matching in the print shop. Even here, careful checks and changes are made before the imaginative motifs are brought to life with perfection and attention to detail and immortalised on velvety soft satin or Swiss jersey
